ITINERARY:
Day 1 (Thursday). MADRID – CÓRDOBA – SEVILLE.
Departure from JULIÀTRAVEL (Plaza de España, 7) at 08.30 a.m. Drive along the land of Don Quixote “The Man from La Mancha” to Córdoba. City tour visiting the Mosque and Jewish Quarter. Continue to Seville. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 (Friday). SEVILLE.
Breakfast. Monumental and Panoramic city tour (Cathedral from outside, Santa Cruz Quarter, Maria Luisa Gardens and the Spain Square). Afternoon at leisure for you to discover exclusive views, specific flavours of this full of light city. Dinner and accommodation. Optional Flamenco tour in Seville
Day 3 (Saturday). SEVILLE – COSTA DEL SOL.
Breakfast. Departure through the White Villages road to Ronda. Short stop to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvellous view of the valley and mountain range. Continue to Costa Del Sol. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and Accommodation.
Day 4 (Sunday). COSTA DEL SOL – FEZ.
After breakfast, departure along the Costa del Sol to Algeciras or Tarifa to board the Ferry boat to cross the strait of Gibraltar. Arrival to Morocco, disembark and continue to Fez. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 (Monday). FEZ.
Breakfast. City tour of Fez, the most ancient of the Imperial Cities of Morocco, visiting the more interesting points of the city: the Royal Palace, Christian and Jewish Quarter and the “Medina” (Old City), declared Patrimony of the Humanity. Lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Accommodation. Optional dinner with show.
Day 6 (Tuesday). FEZ – MEKNES – MARRAKECH.
Breakfast. Departure to Marrakech. On the route, short panoramic tour of Meknes, where we can admire the great Mansour Gate, the most well known monument of the city. Continue to Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 (Wednesday). MARRAKECH.
Breakfast. Visit of the South capital, which is located within an extensive oasis between the Atlas Mountains and the pre-deserted area, including the Koutoubia Tower, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville, Saadines Tombs and Bay Palace and Dejna El Fna Square, which is packed with fortune tellers, snake tamers, acrobats, dancers etc. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Accommodation. Optional dinner with show at “Fantasia Chez Ali”.
Day 8 (Thursday). MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA – RABAT.
Breakfast. Departure towards Casablanca, business capital of the country. Short panoramic tour through the most interesting sections of the city. Departure to Rabat. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 9 (Friday). RABAT – LARACHE - TANGIER.
Breakfast. City tour of Rabat, diplomatic and administrative capital, visiting the most important sights as the Royal Palace (outside), Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Departure via Larache to Tangier. Short panoramic tour. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 10 (Saturday). TANGIER – COSTA DEL SOL.
Breakfast. Transfer to the pier and boarding on the ferry to return across the strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Arrival and continuation to Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 11 (Sunday). COSTA DEL SOL – GRANADA.
Breakfast. Departure to Granada. Visit of La Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. Afternoon is at leisure. Dinner and accommodation. Optional Gipsy night tour in Granada.
Day 12 (Monday). GRANADA – TOLEDO – MADRID.
Breakfast. Departure towards the Imperial City of Toledo (World Heritage city), where the three cultures of Spain (Christians, Moorish and Jewish) have lived together. After lunch, an interesting tour of the most important city monuments, its narrow streets and the famous “Damasquinado” (gold and silver inlaying in iron).Continuation to Madrid. END OF THE TOUR.
